With the next quarterly earnings call coming up, has anyone heard of more layoffs happening this week?

I may be hard tell tell how many people actually get laid off in September. There are a lot of people who were given notice of layoff two months ago who will be leaving at the end of Sept.
There is definitely another round in September, I have no idea how big it is compared to layoffs that already happened but the last time I heard it was going to be mid to late September (after Labor day for sure though)
Layoffs typically happen at the end of fiscal, just like they did last year in September.
Since the call is on Thursday, I would have expected any layoffs to have been already done.
