The future of Q is modem only. As such it will be MUCH smaller in size. ASIC in Q is dead, all remaining work moved to BDC. Large customers are doing their own ASIC (Apple, Samsung, Huawii, etc). MediaTek covering the low end. Management knows no other business. Get out if you can find another job

Not quite correct - Qualcomm has always been a communication system IP company. The only thing that has changed is the method of enabling the IP.
On the bright side, the shipping business is picking up. Q should get into modems for the trucking industry. Growth market.
