As an Islandia employee who is apparently not getting a Town Hall from our current or future CEO is there anybody from CA's Burlington, Plano or Santa Clara office who can give a summary or some insights as to what was communicated?
Our HR VP gave some incoherent, word salad explanation as to why these Town Halls couldn't be broadcast to all employees so many of us are just assuming Islandia is being marginalized and all of our jobs are toast in the next few months.

It is highly likely that Hyderabad office will be closed. First minimised to small amount of heads then shuttered entirely. 6 months tops.
They are still working on Hyderabad town hall but no date confirmed yet . On other post someone posted that Hyderabad office will be closed. Is this hint came from townhall? Please anyone confirm who attended local townhall
There was a Town hall in Prague last July. Not broadcasted as well. Anyone from there can give an insight?
I’m not trying to be mean spirited, but Islandia is predominately administrative functions, which all will be eliminated. They may keep some contracts people but of the 1,000 people there, how many are truly critical in this new world? Legal? No. GIS? No. Education? No. HR? No. CDC? Why keep it when the parents that have kids in there will all be cut. Not trying to be negative but the writing is on the wall. When is the last time any of you saw the current CEO in Islandia? You will never see the new CEO there, why would he waste his time? Islandia lasted longer then any of could ever predict. Say goodbye and move on. The end is near.
Islandia is closing for sure. They are cutting everyone there so why would they keep an office there.

Anyone who thinks having or not having a town hall is delusional. These guys are chip dudes who known nothing about software. This is a financial transaction to them. Get over it.
