Students got a letter saying that our housing will be closing up in September, instead of December like they originally said. Lots of students who thought they had some time to get their lives together and finish before they close the school will now have to find a new place to live. No real reason why was given.

I was reading where a college is investing millions of dollars in their residence hall facilities. When asked, a school official said "Because that's what our students deserve" It's commitment like that which explains why these colleges stay forever.
Similar thing happened at my campus (which is now closing), students were told mid Spring quarter that housing was ending at the end of Spring quarter.
This was before all the closures so many of those students looked for off campus housing signing year leases only to find out a few weeks later that the school is closing for good.
But remember it’s all about the student right?
