With FM and friends gone, is this office kaput?

Post ID: @Uq82muC-cfeh Thanks for the link. It's ironic that he was working at an office supply chain that supplied desks but he did not get a desk from Staples. Good to see FM was such a company man...
Is this song appropriate for Seattle?
Closing Time https://g.co/kgs/U9bDZh
for 1 bonus point, what do the four team members have in common?
the astronomical part was lifting it 9 stories by crane.
I can make a very educated guess about how that website came to be
-
FM wants a website to showcase his little kingdom
-
He asks SW to make it happen
-
SW gets someone in the office to whip up a quick website; they host it with Bluehost because they can't be arsed to go through Global Tech and get it hosted internally
-
FM leaves
-
Whoever whipped up the website leaves
The website is never updated again

I looked on the site for the "innovation lab" and half the leadership team listed no longer works at Staples. Do they ever look at or update the website?
FM womanizer. Where is the metoo outrage, now happening at google
It's not as big or as expensive as I thought. It's definitely more expensive than you are average at home desk but it's not astronomically expensive. Maybe aeronautically expensive LOL

I knew that place was toast by my 3rd week.
got 'em coach! https://cdn.geekwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/staples-offic44.jpg
Does anyone have a photo of that desk? Now I'm curious.
@Uq82muC-8tab The desk was so large and on a floor that it could not be removed without destroying doors, etc. to get it out. They crane lifted it and removed windows that they had to put back. Cost more than it should. SG wanted that quiet. A big, unnecessary expense. So glad Sycamore got rid of that Prima Donna.
I remember the airplane desk from Seattle. Was there another in Cambridge? What do you mean, it costs tens of thousands to remove?
hahaha. I'd forgotten that desk, thanks for the memory.
Surprised it would be operating at all. Just another FM boondoggle. Between that shell of an office and the airplane desk that took tens of thousands to remove from the Cambridge office it is apparent he was s---ing the company dry.
Anything to impress others without producing anything. Good gig if you can get it!
Well it's an "innovation lab" that doesn't seem to be able to update its own website, so....http://staplesinnovate.com/ not so innovative. And the whole point of it was to tell the market we're cutting-edge and they never told anyone anything. Ever.
yup, no openings. I'm surprised Sycamore didn't gut it earlier. Perhaps they did. Another defunct org on my resume, haha.
