The March 2018 Argosy WASC visit went well. However, one area questioned was the financial strength of the schools and WASC asked if DCEH planned to close any of the schools. Richardson reportedly told them that no closures would occur (liar!). With the June 30/July 2 events, Baum had to go back before the WASC committee with the changes. This letter is in reference to that meeting. Keep in mind that, to date, no accreditation agency (WASC, CACREP, ACBSP, Dept of Ed, etc.) has approved the teachout plans or the way the campuses are closing. AU campuses shown on the 7/2 letter will be essentially closed by 2018 year.end. DCEH has released student services directors and advisors, admissions, some financial advisers at the campus levels. Most are receiving the news via mass conference call and on these calls, a roll call is being done which seems to violate a lot of HR rules. It is a mess and all are caught in the crosshairs. Opinion is many students are being forced to sign papers without complete info and under duress because there is conflicting info being distributed on a daily basis. All students are being encouraged to go online. Who knows how long AU Online will be around.

Has anyone heard of any current student taking classes at AU receiving notification of the Western Association accreditation warning?
I work AUO. I hope it shuts down. That would be awesome.
