EDMC execs took the 60 million DCEH paid to gild their golden parachutes. Read their recent bankruptcy filings about creditor banks in the Cayman Islands. They knew this goose was cooked no matter what happened.

Been saying since Hillary lost her election that edmc jumped the gun. If they had waited, Trump, a businessman, would allow it. I’m seriously at the wrong end of this organization.
Bernie pushed it (closing for profits), Hillary latched onto it, Bill was on the board of a for profit that paid millions to Clinton Foundation, he quit that post when Hillary picked up Bernie’s gauntlet (after DWS Hillary’s muscle at the time sank Bernie’s chances), long story, but Trump won and business takes precedent.
Those poor edmc execs could have made quadruple their fortune if they had just stuck it out.
Oh, and we’d all still have jobs and students wouldn’t be losing all their hard work to date.
