I'm not surprised at all. I have been involved in "training" Watson to give the right answers within a search engine and have been appalled at the results. Most of the answers chosen by Watson for sample questions are useless.

And there you have it. All Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions require continuous validation, updates and corrections applied. If you're going to sell an AI solution you better "pony-up" and hire the proper subject matter experts to audit its answers and recommendations daily; especially when you're dealing with human life. My guess is this didn't happen.

Read that - THIS COMPANY is a piece of S---! Used to be a gem of American Business. Not since Sam and Gin destroyed it.

“This product is a piece of s—,” one doctor at Jupiter Hospital in Florida told IBM executives, according to the documents. “We bought it for marketing and with hopes that you would achieve the vision. We can’t use it for most cases.”
