The math never added up, and our stock price went sideways for years while the rest of the tech industry boomed.
Mike did nothing for CA. He just made money for himself.
Surprised this post isn’t getting more attention or comments. The payouts for the level of work are astonishing. How can this be possible. I heard one executive share that if you invested in Apple, Google or Facebook 5 years ago you would have less money then if you invested the same 1,000 in CA. I’m not even sure how he calculated that math. The 1,000 would be worth more with those 3 companies than with CA. Are the executives now believing the lies they tell? Like Mike brought CA to growth over his time? Wasn’t it 4.6 billion when he started and is now 4.2? Despite spending 2 billion on acquisitions? Can someone please explain that math to me or at least to him?
It’s how it has always worked.
Gregoire did NOTHING that turned out well yet walks away with $40M. Any of the execs that are getting golden parachutes are parasites and opportunists in my opinion.
Note that the longer term ELT get no parachute.
I have no objection with a payout, but the amounts are egregious when you consider the real results. All they did was flail about and get no results. They didn’t grow revenue, just cut heads.
But that is what it is.
Goodbye CA, it was nice to have known you.
This is upsetting to see the amount of money some of these people will get versus the amount of time they worked. Disappointing while many people will be left with very small severance packages. Shame on this executive group.

not a bad payday for the crooked execs
Insane. And Adam clearly got screwed. He must have p-ss-d Mike off something fierce.
