My advice is play the game. Get yourself a 2 year certificate (they pay for school) and apply for other positions, they have so many other opportunities available. If you don't bother to search, go to school and apply. Then yes, you will feel your 5 years with the company wasn't what you expected. Better yourself and resume and PPG Paints will gladly give you opportunities to move up. I speak from experience. If all you do is tint paint and color match all day or just do territorial sales; do you think they're going to want to
make you an auditor or group manager or give you a raise? No. Go to school, PPG loves advancing people with school, and like I said they pay for your schooling. Once you get out of the entry level positions, ppg takes great care of you. The quarterly manager bonuses are amazing. They only get better the further you move up. Take a chance, go to school, apply for PPG to pay for it and apply for other positions. You'll thank me later.
