With more and more people in the field turning to us amid layoffs and closings in their own companies, I think it'd be fair to give an honest picture of Hasbro.
First of all, this is not a perfect place to work. Yes, there are great advantages like flexible hours, vacation time and great benefits.
However, we also have sub-par pay, management that can be frustrating at best and obstructing at worst and a generally very cliquey environment. It's hard to progress if you don't know the right people. If you have a family, the amount of travel can be a major problem.
And the most important but rarely mentioned one, we have layoffs as well. And quite often. For some reason, they never seem to get covered by the media. But if you are looking for job security, this is certainly not the holy grail.
