Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

This is not about the bottom 10 percent

That was not really a layoff . This company will continue to target the bottom 10% of performing employees annually. Most of the employees that were released were dead weight or not performing well. They knew their time was limited.

If this is true, can you please explain to me how did we lose one of our best and most productive employees in the last round? Did they mix his name up with somebody's? Or do you just don't know what you're talking about?

Bottom 10 , really bottom 10 of there fake numbers. The nodes are capped at 80% there is only a 20% spread on them, they are usually in the 94-95% range on average techs have a even a less amount of a spread typically less than 10 how can you justify getting rid of a tech at 93-94 percent efficiency over a average to good at a 95-96% efficiency. It is a elaborate ruse to justify a bottom 10 every year this is for churn, It is not dead weight or productivity, this is to eliminate well paid or tenured employees easier write everybody up we’ll pick and choose who goes.

The fake numbers are not even shown to you and as a technician how can you believe this bs. Read up on the inventor of the bottom 10 Another Clown SK who’s doing the same thing at MSG and she ran Aig for a short time. Know your history or your doomed to repeat it. Ps if you get put on pip have them show you documented proof of yours and your counterparts numbers working In the same areas and jobs they will not show you, it’s all talk they are too lazy too many techs for supervisor to do job forensics all you need is a couple of jobs to be closed out wrong and your numbers will change for the better the spread is miniscule at best. So stop with the I’m better than you easier to work together and help each other.
