Bezos essentially has done the same thing Sam Walton did. But instead of having general merchandise to mix out his margins, he has Amazon Web Services.
Now he’s just trying to crack the food business so that he can drive even more traffic.
When he figures it out, he will have the entire retail market on lockdown.
And I think he’s close to doing it. Who could possibly catch him or compete?
He has done sh-- with Whole Foods- he’s turned it into sh--! Produce is horrible, nothing differentiates it from other grocery stores now. Now he’s using it to put in Home Appliances- what a joke. Stick to what you know best Bezos- and it’s not brick & mortar or grocery.
Do you really think he wants to run grocery stores? I feel like Bezos wants those stores to be mini distribution centers.
