The frustrating part is that yes people are saying there will be layoffs but we dont know which location will be on the chopping block.
cull - to reduce or control the size of (something, such as a herd) by removal (as by hunting) of especially weaker animals; also : to hunt or kill (animals) as a means of population control. The town issued hunting licenses in order to cull the deer population.
This truly heartbreaking. When I joined RelayHealth and SW was in charge, I felt such pride to be part of this organization. I am saddened by the demise of this company. No doubt that a select few will profit but not the heart and soul of the company, the rank & file, who do so much with so little. An american nightmare in action for american workers caused by greed. I hope some of leadership feels this pain when they are led out of the door.

..on a call last week steve wason said flat out he will continue to "cull workers" .
all the best people are either gone or leaving. the rest just staying for sevarance

Before the end of the year Change Healthcare is going to continue it's outsourcing mania. As far as I know my support teams are going to be all transitioned to India. All RelayHealth product will be supported from overseas. I have been a director in support for over 10 years - I have never seen anything like this across the entire company. Unless you are wanting to get severance, you need to leave now. There isn't a job title for individual contributor they won't outsource. This company is poison.

Hammer and Nail are cooking burgers for our first annual employee cookout in Waltham. Layoff notices were handed out last week - consolidation efforts will continue as we approach the IPO. We have to look good with less help somehow.
A couple more rounds before the end of the year. All but a few of the IT Operations staff will be outsourced to WiPro before the end of the year as well.
