I was an EDMC employee in 2011, when the Senate investigation was published and the s**t hit the fan and I left. I was a campus level employee, not a corporate leader, and if I could figure out AI was causing significant damage, no one can tell me John McKernan, Todd Nelson, Ed West, Mark McEachen, Goldman Sachs, Providence Equity Partners, Leeds Equity Partners and the lobbying group Barnes and Thornburg didn't know. They went to great lengths to conceal this data, including delisting and going dark. These individuals and entities need to be held accountable, named and stripped of every penny they gained from this endevor.

I'm the OP and exactly who I say I am, a former EDMC employee. I was looking for John McKernan's name and found the lobbying firm on Wikipedia. It also lists the astounding amount of money they were paid. As for the Dream Center, my guess is either they got in bed with EDMC and knowingly participated in this collapse or they were incredibly foolish.
This post is funny. Trying to guess which DCEH person is the OP.
I wonder why this link isn't working anymore - trying to cover it up or what -

DreamCenter is required to submit all kinds of proof why Middle States shouldn't take away their accreditation for AiP -- by August 31st
Aip is on probation -- why aren't students notified?
You're on to something Tired of the BS....I was at CS way longer than 7 years ago and that lobby group doesn't even ring a bell, not sure how a campus level employee would know. Plus not everyone in that laundry list (ie, Jock) was involved in delisting/going dark.
And DCEH needs to be held accountable, too. There was too much money involved for DCEH to play victim and say they didn't know what they were getting from EDMC. Additionally, DCEH acted unethically by withholding information from students and the public regarding loss of accreditation at HLC schools. Also, it seems uber sketchy to continue enrolling students at campuses they planned to close (and if they just out of the blue decided to close schools, then that's weak leadership and poor business acumen).
BTW, does anyone else find it fishy that the OP, who was just a campus employee 7 years ago could name the lobbying firm. If I didn't know better, I'd say that the OP is someone from DCEH trying to deflect responsibility.
Ahhhhh the good old days!
BTW what happened to Mark McEachen? Is he still around or did he leave once Nightmare Center took hold?
