Every day there are 10-20 job postings, with most of them positions that have already been there.. Are these positions real or bogus? Is the hiring freeze over so soon after the layoff?

If job number starts with N then it’s real, starts with G then it’s fake
HR Q loser who used to send "Q is awesome " messages has been fired; that is why there is no such a message anymore.
As a publicly traded company, these (public) job postings, if fake, are sending a message to the street which is not accurate. This is almost the equivalent of releasing a false press release. If any investors rely on the job postings as a positive metric, then QC is deliberately misleading the public, partners and investors. Even if this "show" is for the employee benefit only, they are still being manipulated with false information. However it doesn't surprise me - the executives spend much of their time managing the street's perception of them these days. Not sure why anyone would move to SD to hop onto virtually the ONLY tech lillypad in the area, especially if they can read (take your pick: layoff.com, Wall Street, Glassdoor, the Interwebs). You'd have to be desperate or a fool to ignore the DEFCON 1 level warnings on this place. If you've made it to this page and you're considering accepting a position there... seriously? Even the pathetic HR team has stopped posting those "Life is AWESOMES at the Q" posts on here.
These jobs are for getting green cards to Indians due to immigration process
Still have to justify H1Bs
Totally fake. Even LTE modem works are shipped to India now. How could these post come from?
This is not legal. HR should be sued in court,
As bogus as confidence from mgmt
How else to you continue to justify H1Bs? You have to show that you're "unable" to find talent.
i have seen that they fired so many PMs and the next day there were new ads for hiring. The funny part is that I was also helping with the board tracking for ops. they fired me and kept the OPs folks who was asking me to do work.
They are fake. They are called “talent “ postings and used solely to collect resume and information. If they find a potential person they would like to hire they will do a squeeze play to fire them with bogus reviews or passive harassment.
Those posts are bogus. You need to keep collecting resumes and pretend you are a real company or it's impossible to start back up the recruiting process. If things go completely offline it will take forever to get back going when it is really needed.
All of 'em fake - especially when layoff rumours around, to give the impression to the employees everything is fine. If some openings exist for a long time, stay away. From time to time HR in many companies publish such fake openings to external candidates for market analysis and get the mood of internal employees
