Welp, looks like mgmt found the thread.
@lastcommentor: I agree no one is safe, but saying all of PC will be let go if PMall is the buyer is highly speculative. The truth is no one does until it actually happens.
PC employees will be entirely let go if PMALL is the purchaser a.k.a bed bath and beyond. They are no better than the DG and SD locations.

My wife is an admin in Downers Grove and she was laid off yesterday. I do not work for FTD, I work for a company that has a lively forum here as well.
Anyhow, it's my understanding that they are all done with layoffs (at least at DG)....

Hard to say what will happen with PC folks. It all comes down to what the buyer wants.
PC looks mostly untouched. We're guessing because of rumors that they expect to get purchase offers in the next couple of weeks. Buyers have been touring the facilities the past few weeks. Anyone have any intel of what would happen to SD PC employees when it does get sold?
How many more are expected?
