Has anyone been told to disregard their 2nd layoff letter? If so can they legally keep laying you off and then telling you to stay? DCEH y’all are a piece of crap for toying with peoples emotions!

No it is all about the WARN and how long they want to keep you. They can warn you and keep you working for 60 days then you get no severance. If Illinois!!!
I think most people will be laid off on the 27th. I think they retracted the letters only because they realized that no one would have any morale--and might possibly do some damage--for those two weeks. I bet that on the 27th, many people will be told it is their last day.
