The latest buzz is that couple of offshore(India) managers have received an email asking to prepare a spreadsheet containing the details of their resources based on their dependency/criticality. It is expected that all the senior managers will receive such emails in couple of days. So the storm is going to start in India soon, but the number is uncertain.

I heard that it will be starting today. Managers and above positions will be impacted.

No ssnc already has an India office under globeops. They will move those employees to either of the two India offices.
Goal is 60 % India and 40 % u.s. doudt they are laying off in India.
Interesting, there are actual goals around moving dev offshore? What business unit? What's the percentage?
And yet, we have goals to move x% of dev staff off shore by the end of the year to cut costs...
