They changed the project name from tennis to ping-pong. You are no longer pivoting your ping ponging.

Start with Lot of money.

Build cloud apps, App Store and local apps. Pivot.

Move from GE cloud to AWS. Pivot.

Move from Java to docker. Pivot.

Move from GE services to Azure IOT. Pivot.

Migrate from AWS to Azure. Pivot

Crap. Everyone buying direct from MSFT. Pivot.

Hey, where did all the money go? Pivot.

Has anyone seen my pension? It was here a while ago.

Sorry no pivot for the little guy. Wishing doesn’t make it so.

At least we know what Project Tennis likely was. Some people mentioned that it was associated with Microsoft.

Announcement seems like old news as far as i am concerned. It still does not change anything. Here at SR stilling going to be lots of changes and eventual downsizing. We know that many synergies will be in marketing and design of Predix.

It’s about rebuilding/rehabilitating Predix. Such a dismal failure because the platform (Cloud Foundry) is a piece of crap. They will basically blow up what they have and start over. However, GE has not stated how this will strategically change how they GTM. They still plan to let the BU’s determine how/when to sell software. Basically it’s putting lipstick on the pig!
