In the non eastern or Cablevision or optimum markets ...we have seen the old trucks going to contractors and no techs being replaced just shuffling people around from managers down ....now people jumping back to Altice USA from ATS ....( only upper managers) and rumors of stores getting closed and possibly prepping to be sold ? Seems things happen first on the eastern side before it makes it way here... anything actually happening ? We are all in the same boat altice ....

Down in the south , employees that leave ,are replaced by a contractor. We are loosing service techs with many years of field experience only to be replaced by a " tech contractor " with one week of training. They can't even turn on a meter to check levels cuz they don't know where the power button is. Also , delequent accounts are not being disconnected. Customer have figured out we aren't cutting you off if you don't pay . It's a deceptive waway to keep your sub counts up on the books. I saw it once in a bankruptcy of a cable operator. Subs that don't pay are still " positive counts" .
Less people to complain about T-shirts
Selling what parts of Optimum where? Lowest ROI PSI’s?
That’s great, 4 new guys, making new guy wages. How many veterans from your shop left to make those positions? Buy outs or not, techs that aren’t here any more were way more expensive than some new guys that you’ll be following around fixing their mistakes. Sounds like a bad bargain to me.
we just hired 4 new guys in morris
That’s how they roll get with it fight back or get ran over we said unionize is only chance.
