Tops is in process of executing mass layoffs. Ten stores will close, and if we assume 50 to 80 folks per store, you are looking at about 500 Tops employees being laid off. So far, we know that Syracuse, Westvale, Lyons, and Geneva (and I think Fulton) will be closed, they are targeting November 2018 as the closure date.
I know that Geneva is pretty big, they have 80 folks or so. My sister is being laid off, I left on my own long time ago. This is bad, but I hope each of you finds a better job soon.
