Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

The Art Institutes * Online

So when did Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division become The Art Institutes - Online?

Isn't that a breach of Middle States Accreditation? The 'Online Division' is accredited through Ai Pittsburgh - it is not it's own entity.

The Brightspace login now says: The Art Institutes - Online

DCEH schools are like "Whose Line Is It Anyway" the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter. That's right, the points are just like the employees at AU Ai and SU. They just don't matter.

Right when DCEH took over their new marketing people changed it. I remember asking why because we were never allowed to have just online before.

They don’t give a f--- about legal/compliance.

That was the original logo and the reason the PADOE sent a cease and desist letter and threatened to pull AiP’s license if it wasn’t changed and replaced on all material including all web properties and marketing. It was quite the fire drill back then. Reg Affairs and Legal pushed back but lost the argument and AiP almost lost their license.

Originally it was AiO, The Art Institute Online, a Division of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Here is the original logo:

Re: -ykt - don't hope it, REPORT IT. And let David Halperin, Post Gazette reporters, US Senators, education media, Middle States, and your grandmother know.

The main website of AiP does not list Online https://www.artinstitutes.edu/pittsburgh

The main website for Ai lists Online as a separate entity - categorized an 'anywhere'

https://www.artinstitutes.edu/our-campuses

The Online page states 'Art Institute Online' https://www.artinstitutes.edu/our-campuses

At the bottom of the AIO page it states Online is accredited by Middle States

The Art Institute Online is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (267-284-5000).

Total misrepresentation -- lies! aiopd is accredited through aip's accreditation with MS,

which they are surely going to lose now.

So much wrong doing going on with dceh and aip

Students applied and think they are attending aipod not aio

How does dceh plan to get away with this one? - this is a deceptive move on dceh's part and aip's for letting it happen.

I hope Middle States and the Pennsylvania Department of Education is monitoring this site.

It's true -- the old login for online says The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division

The new login we have been using for the last year for Brightspace now says The Art Institutes - Online

It’s also against the direction and regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Education to use the name The Art Institutes - Online.
