if someone is late an hour or less its gonna be a ¼ point 1-2 hours is ½ point 2+ hours full point. if its a no call no show 1 point plus coaching (⬅️still testing this one ⬅️}. if its a "restricted" timeframe 2 points or termination depending on coverage. but all this could completely change if they decide to go ahead with the moving personnel to a 3rd party company

I heard The point system and attendance policy will change to:
4 total points allowed before termination
2 points if you miss a scheduled day on the weekend or a holiday
Associates with a current total of 3 or less points will start the new policy work zero points
Associates who currently have greater than 3 points will start the new policy with 3 points regardless of the current amount they have now. (If you are at 8.5 points you'll drop to 3).
@UYYRMJt-1tuy.....Sadly Walmart was once a great place to work with tremendous career possibilities. However, once LS took the helm as the leader, it has gone down hill ever since. It used to be a great TEAM environment where if you worked hard, there were opportunities to grow yourself and support your family....but now not so much.....it is everyone for themselves with no concern for what keeps them in business - the Associates in the stores and warehouses - They are the ones that kept this company afloat. I would like to see a robot care for and show empathy to a customer, see a self checkout make a kid or elderly person smile, show a positive outlook to someone that is having a rough day.
Yes the Old days when you could have a career at Walmart are over......but they don't have to be if the right people were in charge.
Walmart was never a career for anyone with any potential, or ability to function in a normal workplace.
You'd have to be a complete masochist to work for Walmart now. Til just a few years ago it was still a good deal for folks who couldn't qualify for higher education or better paying lines of work, but they've taken all the perks away. The only peeps it's good for now are students and retirees.
More than likely third-party is coming because they don’t want to pay wages and benefits.
