InterCall was DOOMED the day West acquired the company in 2003. InterCall was built on "giving back" to employees. EVERY employee (even front line agents) received stock options and bonuses. Greedy corporate executives ensured all employee engagement efforts were destroyed while they filled their pockets off the hard work of the front line employees. Hope they enjoy their retirement while the front line employees that are left struggle to make ends meet. Hope they remember two proven life facts ..... What goes up must come down and Karma is a B--ch.

What's going on now???
So a few thoughts here. Those years at InterCall count. Employers are figuring out that degrees are not worth as much as experience. Next, this is tech right. The internet has few boundaries and remote jobs are becoming more common by the minute. If you have a reasonable internet connection, I would not consider the borders of the small town to be the limits of my job search. Opportunities are out there for you guys no matter where you're at, it's definitely time to make it happen.
Unfortunately, West Point, GA is a small town with limited opportunities. Not all of the front line employees have degrees and have limited options. InterCall has been their life career. They must hang on until they have no choice but to leave. It's sad to watch because it didn't have to end this way.
For your friends, why don't they just quit? There are tons of tech jobs out there, what reason at all is there to stick around? If you/they want to teach Apollo a lesson, hit them where it counts. Right in their investment. I say walk away and leave it in shambles.
Yeah accidentally posted twice. I wasn't a victim, but have friends that are stuck in the chaos that still exists. It's sad what West (now Apollo) has done to so many just to fill their greed for $. No compassion for the actual frontline employees that made the company a success which is now on a downward spiral of destruction.
Not that the rants aren't true, but I've noticed that sometimes you post one and then re-post it in a new thread. These guys must have really done you wrong?
