Boise Cascade does not pay well - you will be faced low wages and very long hours. If you are salaried you may as well expect a 12 hour day. On many levels everything is micromanaged, every move is tracked and you will have zero independence in your work. This removes any creativity from work and people working here at Boise Cascade hate this element of our work the most.
Aside from this, there is a ton of office politics and different departments are hating each other - this is not good for the business overall - there is no trust and people are often scared to do anything just because they think that they may get punished for 'rocking the boat'...
On the other hand, the benefits are great and some managers are good role models.
