I just got laid off. Whole consulting team in service provider fired. Maybe 13 of us total. Anyone else today? Hearing more on Sept 1.

Juniper pivoting? Too funny. You mean bleeding profusely?!
FAKE NEWS 100%
Better to pay special attention to each team individually. If you do it in bulk, chance for errors is greater. Does't look like layoff is necessery from business persective, but cutting the dead wood in order to be able to add more resources to strategic projects is absolutely needed.
Juniper is pivoting quite successfully from traditional hardware company, unlike many of old competitors (majority of them bit the dust).
Migh be good thing for laid off of employees - pickup package and retrain on something more relevant if still capable.
If Juniper lays off in batches, employees will be worried and get demotivated. If layoff is necessary, why not do it in 1 day in one full swoop.
EPS optimisation, just keep chopping the dead wood.
What's exactly going on in Juniper ? Typically layoffs happen on a particular day and that's the end of it (at least for that round of layoff). I have been hearing layoff for about 1 month now. Is Juniper laying off people in bunches periodically ?
