I left in June and it is the best decision I have ever made. DCEH had no idea what they were doing. The campus I worked for was counting every penny and most office supplies, I bought myself. The poor students always had equipment and computer problems. It was a total mess. What did the upper management do? They faked illnesses and were not available to lead. If you kissed the rear of the president, you were in her "golden circle". It was like a high school environment, except there were really no "cool kids" only the teacher's pets trying to be in her favor. These schools should have been closed long ago when they were faking stats and bringing in anyone that had a pulse. The open schools probably are still doing this. 40 years old with 3 kids and a stay at home wife... like to play video games... you don't have to draw, like computers or program- get a Game Art degree.. where there were very few jobs. Just thinking about this now makes me want to vomit. Close them all down.
BR and his flying monkeys are a bigger problem than the old leadership. Arrogance and ignorance are a deadly combination. This could have been turned around if they actually knew anything about or gave a care about the regulatory landscape. They are more concerned about presenting new bright shiny objects to trick people into thinking it’s a great opportunity rather than abide by the regulations and strengthen the academics. Much easier to weaken the academics, ignore the regulations, and claim moral superiority than deal with Truth.

It is proven - same leadership sinks the new ship -- they should have cleaned house of all edmc admins -- wiped the slate clean and start over --
I left the EDMC monstrosity right before the DCEH catastrophe occurred last year. EDMC set this course for DCEH and all of has all been a long time coming. From what my former colleagues share with me, you’re correct the leadership is largely unchanged. The best predictor of future performance is past performance, so of course they’re headed right at the iceberg again. As the former CEO of EDMC once said, “I look forward to reading about your success...”.
