Now to add insult to injury or salt to an open wound, S. "RIF" Lynch wins a Silver Stevie award for discovering new ways to drive efficiencies that saved AS millions. Heads up Stevie Judges, looks like you were duped by AS leadership into believing that a 70%+ RIF in US and UK resources were "new ways" to drive down costs and increase profitability. There's nothing magical or creative in what Lynch has done. Let's just wait and see if her creative financing deals keep AS out of Chapter 11. If they don't will she have to give back the award? **NB: The only reason she didn't get a Gold award is that there was another CFO out there with more RIF'd "Heads" on the table. Let's see if the 3rd QTR results in getting her closer to her goal for Gold.
