3hxn - Yes, it seems that they are letting students take classes online to cover for courses that are not being taught on ground. At closing campuses, it may be to allow students to reach graduation by the stated school close date.
It is very shady which classes are transferable and which classes "match" the competencies of other classes. Some students have seem to taken the same course 2 or 3 times to reach their degree.
Another thing that is really weird: some Ai ground campuses do not accept transfers from other ground Ai schools - even for the courses with the same titles... they may have different numbers and/or credits (though they are the same hours and in every other way). HOWEVER, those courses can be taken online by either campus for the same credit...though the ground credits may not transfer between ground schools... I wonder why? ...$$$$$$
Seems like a student from a closing campus can take online classes but they are not being “transferred” to AiO officially?
Based on the information I'm receiving from our closing school... at least for the fall term, those students looking to transfer 100% online can register for online classes as a student of our closing school. Our campus will still be open in the Fall but that's its last quarter.
why would you even consider wasting your time on this??
Ai Online is forbidden by MS from accepting or transferring students from any closing school on ground.
They are not accepting transfers from closing ground schools
AIO online is about to lose accreditation from MSCHE , they should NOT be accepting anyone.
Nope!
