Thread regarding CA Technologies (CA Inc.) layoffs

CA Layoff Date

Have you got any tentative dates for the layoff. I am hearing that CA will start notifying their resources around mid of Sep to leave CA. Is that true. When we get to know about out position exist or not.

Does CA wait till Closing the transaction or will CA take the decisions before it closes it.

WOW Islandia and 520 as a ghost towns. This shows how the road spins. A few years ago, some Executives' admins got to "humiliated" the employees who for different reasons did seat in the 6th floor in Islandia or in 520 Madison arguing that those employees had to work from other locations because only IMPORTANT people (Admins included of course) could be in the Islandia 6th floor or 520 Madison building. Today it is possible nobody is there :-) including those VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE. How ironic. c'est la vie.

520 won’t have anyone left - most if not all of those groups will be gone come November.

CA doesn’t. Broadcom does.

The action won’t happen until November.

Doesn’t CA have to file a Federal WARN Act notification 30 days before a major action?

Ask these questions internally and not on a site like this. I've asked several questions to the internal site and received answers pretty quickly. No one posting on this site is going to be in the know and be able to answer a question like this. Doubtful that Broadcom or CA spend time on this site and answer questions for people.
