The latest rumor floating around our campus is that our genius leaders didn't notice that until they get officially annointed as a non-profit, as a for-profit they owe taxes. I gather this is not helping with cash flow issues.

The problem is Grand Canyon was a single campus, BR and his Cronies are trying to take a small model of success and treat it like it is a globalized solution for an entire nation of campuses. Maybe BR and his cronies should have taken the time to properly assess the system and employed strategic processes of success in a different manner.
More DCEH incompetence. Twittle Dum & Twittle Dee at the helm. Grand Canyon turn around must have been via a stroke of luck & alot of prayers or someone else was guiding the helm & not Richardson.
Prayers aren’t working this time, a miricle is needed.
The cash flow issue has to be acute with 2/3 of AI closing, the online potentially unaccredited soon and the potential for loss of federal loans. Now this post. The prediction that all AIs close as debree granting institutions by Dec 31st looks more accurate each day....
No worries as they will just take it out of our 401K !
“When is the non-profit status supposed to kick in?”
According to DCEH January 1, 2018.
It’s in the hands of the DOE now and may not happen at all.
When is the non-profit status supposed to kick in?
