Any idea how to estimate severance calculations? UK, Singapore, US, Netherlands, Switzerland etc?

I worked at TR for almost 20 yrs. retired in September 2018. Eagan/content ops. There were a lot of problems, mainly with ever changing reorgs and management being fairly clueless about the actual work. But I really take issue with all these comments implying everyone was slacking and complaining. I was in a group of really hard workers who cared about the products we worked on. No one was slacking off just collecting a paycheck.

Often the issue was that many of the worker bees cared way more about the products being accurate and high quality than the management folks did.

The calculation is this:

Continue doing as little work as you have over the last 20 years + sit on rear + 50% more complain + put both hands out + ignore fact that FR has failed

They really dont have to give much as long as they give it uniformly. And the bigger the rif, they less they have to give.

Btw, why dont you just find a new job, and stop sittIng on your arse?

Thanks for the info. Yes, terminators have been observed. My guess is October/November lay-offs in the "new TR"

1M Basic for every year in service (+)

Accrued retirement benefits (differs by region) (+)

Unused Holidays at Basic rate prorated (+)

Accrued Bonus prorated if any (+)

Full pay for 1 to 3M varies by region (-)

Amt owed to TR if you've taken a loan/advance

-- only for permanent staff. Bear in mind nothing is contractual here, so we are at their mercy literally - so fash a wicked smile everytime you see your boss.

BTW, 3rd party terminators have been observed in the office, collecting data, holding secret meetings with managers. Its here folks, won't be too long now.
