it’s been brought to my attention that if the schools were truly nonprofit we would no longer be able to contribute to a 401k but a 403(b) instead.

The EDMC to DCEH sale never happened
DCEH is a shell / holdings company...
I don't think the non-profit status is complete yet
Because so too would faculty and staff with student loan debt go on a special program and no one has been able to to that yet
