DCEH Get Rid of AIP-OD Administration

Dear DCEH

If you are serious about going all online- please get rid of the currently AIP-OD administrators especially the Dean of Online Programs. She has no understanding of what makes a successful online program. Instead of recognizing faculty who achieve high student ratings and above average retention rates for their classes she accuses and demeans faculty with continual threats related to her petty policies that haven't achieve success in the last ten years.

Just look at the online programs retention rates over the past 8 or 10 years and compare them to the retention rates of individual faculty and you will see where the real problem. Over the years I have seen faculty win retention awards and be laid off a year later.

Get rid of the existing AIP-OD administration if you want a chance at a successful online program.

Middle States may pull AiO accreditation November 15, even so, AiO will stay open, many “Christian” colleges operate with in-house or independent accreditation.

The degrees will be useless for anything other than self enrichment, church service or missions.

Since dceh/aip is supposedly non-profit -- that makes it a public institution - therefore all records are for public viewing - shouldn't also the FULL report be made public?

When asked during a meeting by an instructor if they could read what was going in the report to Middle States dean jc said publicly we may let you read some of it.

We’ll find out what she thinks faculty need to know Wednesday September 5th.

Mushrooms, faculty at AiP and AiO are nothing but mushrooms to the administrators.

Agreed, “it's a documented fact admin manipulates outcome” and hopefully, even at the cost of my own job, Middle States sees through the scam report AiP president and AiO dean will be submitting this week.

Faculty in an advisory role, laughable, unless “advisory” is defined as complete manipulation by AiO administrators to say what they want to hear you say - Brainwashing 101.

Lead Faculty and fulltime, staff, are too afraid to speak out publicly about how bad they are treated by JC and her goon squad of lackeys.

Students will all be SOL very soon unless they transfer to an accredited college ASAP - before Middle State pulls the accreditation.

bvix I'm absolutely certain current students online have no idea about the warning -- it's a documented fact admin manipulates outcome -- yah they emailed students - ones with fake or dead emails or to the closing schools. If students who really need to know were informed -- faculty would hear about it from their students - absolute silence.

8ovp Those emails must have only gone to students on closing campuses, we have not heard from any students enrolled at AiP or AiO and we were told by the dean and president they would inform the students.

There were a few handpicked AiP students who met with a Middlestates team, no others seem to know about the warning or just cause.

8xbi - Yes, apparently AIO emailed students (yesterday) that they could not transfer to AiO full time because of the Middle States accreditation warning <- that option is now officially off the table.

As usual, faculty have not been informed of this (formally or informally), including those currently teaching online. I do not know how anyone working for the company could know of this information besides: (1) checking this website or (2) getting questions from students (who read their email & ask) ...or perhaps (3) being in upper management hiding in the shadows...

Has anyone heard of any student taking classes at AiO receiving notification of AiP/AiO Middle States accreditation warning and show cause?

Here we go again:

Art Instititute Online--grad rate=9%, retention rate=31% (after a 6 year tabulation period)

Retention rates are a joke. 70% of online AiP-OD students aren't even capable of doing the work in their degree program and if the faculty do not give them a passing grade we are at threat of losing our jobs. High retention rate is only an indicator of being an easy grader and not enforcing any standards or having any academic integrity.

Attention Middle States accreditation

Complete overhaul of admins -- new leadership is a must -- leaders not associated with edmc

I don’t believe getting rid of AiP-OD will solve the accreditation issue...
