if they are doing a turnaround you sure can't tell from their financials

I remember a few years ago there was talk of a riff. Management absolutely denied it, even though I read about upcoming layoffs from an Arizona based newspaper. Still, they persisted, layoffs not part of the conversation. The next week, layoffs happened. I never felt so insulted and betrayed at the blatant lying. In other words, I wouldn't trust UTI management about layoff talk.
Got it ... was this a leadership call? and were they discussing a company wide RIF?
Right! Sure they did!
Actually, my friend sat in on a conference call. Take it for what it’s worth.
So you heard second hand from a friend, who heard one side of a conversation, that likely was also secondhand, about a possible RIF?
A friend who works at the Rancho campus said they overheard a phone conversation talking about an upcoming RIF...good luck!
Next quarter is always there. Define “better”. Maybe the execs getting rich and collecting bonuses makes next quarter better?
every earnings call for the last 16 or more has Kim saying that things are getting better next quarter! When does next quarter get here and when will the board and stockholders have enough?
still managed to pay those bonuses!
