One thing everyone should know by now is that NXP is not transparent. There is no regular company news other than what you can read in the press. Nobody gets emails explaining new technology or an expanding section in the company. People get fired in the building next door or the room next door and nobody knows for weeks or months. Sometimes you wonder what happened to someone only to find out either nobody knows or if you happen to ask the right person in the the right section you find out they killed that group they were in. I doubt they are going to announce anything, people seem to just constantly and slowly stream out of the place so it doesn't make the news or affect morale, except everyone now knows its been going on for a while. But when they start fab and site closures I think it will start hitting people in between the eyes. They really are on a drive to make NXP a smaller company with only a few areas of activity.
Bumped from @UyKzRX8-nof for being on point.
