6 atac engineers were laid off in a meeting Thursday morning, if there were any that they didn't yet get ahold of because of vacations they'll surely get it today or as they come back from their vacations.
I am going to say this is a rumor until it happens. In my 10+ years in ATAC with ADP/CDK the layoffs have happen on the Thursday at the end of a pay period. I have never seen it happen on the Monday at the start of a pay period.
If it happens tomorrow then you can say I was wrong.
Sorry “Not Important” but CDK is certainly not trying to “contain the hysteria”. Rather, they are trying to amplify and spread it. Much cheaper for them if folks leave on their own rather than have to pay out severance. It’s all only about $$$ - always has been.

Hey Not Important, keep spewing the ridiculous propaganda the company implanted into your mind during the latest townhall/brainwashing/indoctrination session. The fact that you're still employed at this company gives us all the evidence we need that poor decision making is a way of life at CDK.
It's a rumor until something happens. People spreading fear with no basis. 'It happened before!'... ok, and it will happen again at some point. However, they're clearly trying to contain the hysteria. Spreading it out over a two week period would not go in line with that.
This is people taking advantage of the weekend lull in actual, factual information to just act like they know something. Attention seeking in the most shallow way possible... fear mongering.
I hope this is a rumor. I work for ATAC and BTW, I work my a-- off for CDK as they own me for 9+ hours a day. I rarely take a break, take abbreviated lunch hours, and often stay late. I am all about treating our Client's with dignity and respect. I take much pride in my work and like what I do. I will and do anything to make our Client's happy. I cannot afford to be unemployed.
Stop spreading fear and misinformation. It is irresponsible and shortsighted.
