It always amazed me how the public face touted “record” earnings and the internal face said how poor they were doing.

So what is it Allscripts?

What the odds Allscripts reports record bookings tomorrow?

Get ready for rounds of deep cuts rest of year.. not much favorable news being generated by Allscripts the past few years...

Any new sales to announce and not old news or clients who currently can not replace Allscripts and had to reup their hostage contract..?

anxious to hear the call.....

Good luck to us all.....

Allscripts uses technology like a surgeon uses a cyber-knife. Sadly enough, they only use it in themselves.

Allscripts, the fastest way to put your hospital back on paper. They'll charge you for it too.

Allscripts has drawn a line in the sand, "leaders" vs associates. The further up the "leadership" chain the more removed and clueless they are. They don't care! The further down the chain the "leadership" you find they are lazy, more arrogance then talent and skill, associates are basically paralyzed by "leaders" constant indecisions, none decisions , and misdecsions. From being one of the premier PM systems in the ambulatory market in their days ( before Allscripts ) to being so irrelevant and on the verge of collapse. Raleigh/Durham/Cary area is an incredible market for high tech skills, their "leadership" both local and Chicago based are fast becoming legendary jokes in the area and industry. Read the trade mags and healthcare blogs. Associates are looked at as unfortunate souls caught up in a cyclone of stupidity. Other companies in the area know they have a pool to pull from but the issue is the product lines are so poorly coded, architected, obsolete , if associates have not kept up their skill set on their own it will be tough. I recall the few classes where vendors were brought in to teach, were filled up with useless internal trainers and managers, who don't take calls, solve issues, prevent issues, nothing. Their constant failure at hosting is a beacon for this leaderships incompetence. Good luck to everyone left and you got to start looking even the souls who think their safe... Little to No New clients, large client attrition Falling revenue, poor coding, poor architecture, a hosted SLA of less then 80% uptime inability to protect clients data, the list is endless...

I was let go last October from the Boston office. I was there for 16 years the last 6 as a systems engineer in title only. In 6 years I had four managers. And out of the four only one knew his butt from his elbow, and he left. It was stressful but I’m much happier now. Every time Paul Black came to tell lies in Boston it was followed with layoffs. He even looks like a slime ball. He just quoted not to long ago this is the year we’re going to pull away from the pack! I guess so just the wrong direction. There is life after the lies and wolves at Allscripts! Good luck to the good ones that are now looking.

Yes this is true, No surprise and very sad. When will management be impacted. Eventually your job will be unnecessary. They can hire management more cheaply in India also.

How can I get into the list? Ready to leave but very hard to leave with empty hand.

Lost a decent amount of support from my area, and my immediate manager. Not sure how far reaching this was, though.

Know how many? Any management gone yet? Or is just the peons that stay year after year knowing their jobs are being replaced by India? Wonder how many more clients they will lose getting rid of their on shore employees.
