Every July, regardless of performance, employees come to work on edge wondering if they’ll be part of the “reorganization.” What a neat place to work if you are supporting a family. Cannot believe the strategy of paying a headhunter fees, training, relocation costs, then severance - all within 12 months. Over and over. A model of inefficiency........

Move to azure, if they will have you...
Unless you are in the azure biz, I wouldn't get too comfortable. Almost everything else is in sustain which means cut headcount and drive down costs.
This is the rules of the game for working at Microsoft, welcome to the family. L65-67 and even CVP are no longer safe, everyone could be on the chopping board. Last time I checked, Amazon, Boeing, Starbucks, and others still hiring.
