Its clear the management and executive team is naive to business. Its like none of them has had any real business experience or education. One of the basics in any MBA will show if your goal is only the shareholders, dividends and stock performance, then your focus is not on the business - it will die.
Can you think of companies like Blockbuster?

Was told today by a person who was a people manager until last year that managers attended training in how to cut people and that they are expected to be able to do so yearly.
