It was clearly said today if AiP loses accreditation and Title IV funding the campus will close. Where AiP goes AiO goes as well.

It is also clear that AiP and AiO are not telling students about any of this, the Middle States team is real concerned with honest communication from AiP/AiO.

Middle States needs to check the admissions practices and student class scheduling at AiO. Classes are only 5 1/2 weeks to start with and frequently students are added after the first week ends. Teachers are expected to stop everything and help a student complete an online class when they’ve already missed 20% of it. Most online classes have 3-4 assignments each week, late adds are given special treatment and teachers have to check the class daily to make sure they do not miss any student posts. Admissions is forced to sell them on a late start and teachers have to make sure they stay entertained and engaged.

It has been said before, this is an unethical school and they prove daily that they don’t care about the students or employees, but they do care about getting the student’s money.

“online is a rigorous program” there is a difference between rigorous and busy work.

Students bright enough to self teach using outside resources, professional sites, YouTube and software blogs can do quite well, but do not be fooled that it has anything to do with the online curriculum.

You're right nincompoop. The graduation rate at AiO is an astounding 9% tabulated after an allowable 6 year time frame.

That's per (collegescorecad.ed.gov)

"Online boot camp."

What the hell are talking about fool?

Truth of the matter, DCEH is advertising Ai as a nonprofit but the US DOE has not approved approved that change, Ai is still a for profit school. Fact is DCEH and Ai are false advertising.

Fact is also that Ai is on accreditation probation.

Neither of those have anything to do with faculty. Students should beware of the false and predatory practices and if they had proper advising they would be told to move on.

They don’t care if the graduation rate is true. Much of the information on this site is incorrect but they’ll still spread it for the attention.

'The portfolios are horrible and no one gets jobs' -- not my students - they do get jobs and they get rave reviews from their employers because of it...and they are working in their coourse/program fields

'the online was completely worthless!!!' -- not true -- online is a rigorous program -- akin to boot camp for all departments. It isn't for everyone but is most certainly isn't 'worthless' -

'I think online grad rate is %1' .... I keep seeing this figure go down in forum posts - 1% not true.

I'm faculty for 16 years -- while it was an unethical approach taken by our mother company -- there are many of us who stand by our students from the heart - and will continue to do so till the last student graduates.
