Here is an update on Bardstown's American Greetings layoffs:
The layoffs are expected to start on Sept. 7, 2018, this layoff is expected to impact 123 employees. Eight weeks after the first layoff there is a second layoff that will impact seven people. A third layoff will occur on Nov. 9, 2018, impacting 55 employees. A fourth layoff will happen on Dec. 7, 2018, impacting 65 people. The final wave of layoffs will be on Feb. 28, 2019, this wave will lay off the remaining employees.
