Something to think about when the next round of layoffs happen (see articles below). I was a highly educated, skilled, high performing, long term Cummins employee. Excellent performance reviews; however, I was laid off during their last mass layoff. I am an American. I had people working for me that were visa holders, some in process for green cards. They are still employed today. I know many outstanding Cummins employees that were let go in lieu of visa holders. Same if not higher skills. Paid more, yes, but most loyal employees will take a pay cut to save the company from requiring layoffs. Look up how many work visa apps Cummins processes, especially 2015 when they let go so many people here in the USA. (https://www.myvisajobs.com/Visa-Sponsor/Cummins/137256_Visa.htm)
