FYI no one out of sr leadership knows anything they are keeping it quiet so they can negotiate the sale. Anyone posting on here has no idea about that they speak. Now that being said I would have concerns if it is more risk than you can take then there is only one thing for you to do. But this change could be good in the long run if you are willing to hold off.

I have people I know that work for Digital for Cyber security for Renewables in 53 in Schenectady, they were informed in there weekly staff meeting from the manager that take as much vacation time as they want. To me that is a sign something is about to happen to this group. This group I'm referring to is only 5 people, with 4 people having 2 years in GE. Knowing that if you get laid off with that little time in GE the severance package is nothing, and with permissive time off, is this a bone the manager is throwing them?, I read into this as something is going to happen in the coming months for this group and many others. I'm glad I left 3 months ago, only wish I took more vacation time.
