I heard from another employee who was let go that Admissions staff will be most likely being kept on payroll til early September now. Is that correct? Anyhow heard anything like this? I just can’t wait to receive my lovely letter. Ugh.

U4prR6G-7kax how is that possible if it's due to WARN Act? I wouldn't see how a title affects it? What's Schaumburg Admissions getting? So you are says Ada's are pd til September but it he titles are not? What's the justification? Sounds like legally department screwed the pooch.
No speculation it’s true In IL they are on payroll until September, which is not fair to other employees that are from the same location
Supposedly It's not based on the state only but campus size as well. I've heard that in IL and FL some campuses are under WARN Act getting paid in particular departments til 9/11 but others getting severance based on years of service. Sounds like discrimination to me. I for one won't be signing my hush money until my attorney reviews everything.
What does that mean???? This is ridiculous! Eveyone who was let go last week was affected just the same so they should Be providing pay the same unless it’s severance based on time of service. That I understand but that staying on active payroll depending on what state is BS. What about Ohio?

I cannot say. Just wait for your separation packages to arrive and you may be pleasantly surprised. Hopefully it will hold people over until they find something else.
Where is eveyone hearing this??? I heard only til 7-13 which is two weeks after my layoff date. I have a feeling you guys are speaking of people who are staying til 8/28, and in that case they would be paid out two more weeks after that date.
I also heard early September and the change will be in the letter we receive in the mail.

I was let go in admissions. On payroll until the end of this week. The rest of the department has the same terminat date. Except the SDOA. Our SDOA is still working until end of July. Not heard of anyone being kept until September.
