Advocate Health Care Replaces Cerner, Allscripts With Epic EHR

Allscripts, fresh off of its acquisition of McKesson EIS last summer continue to lose market share to Epic and Cerner, presumably as large health systems seek to consolidate on a single platform

41 replaced Allscripts Paragon/horizon systems in end of 2017-2018 alone.

Baylor Scott & White. Replacing Allscripts with Epic starting in October, estimated to take 18 months.

Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center (NE) will replace Allscripts with Epic on December 1, 2018.

comparing 2012 thru 2016 Allscripts lost 15 percent of their bed coverage over those years as hospital EHR uptake was booming, while McKesson customers stampeded for the door (and into the arms of Cerner and Epic) as the company lost nearly half of the beds it was covering in 2012.

How many more dufes will end up in the dufes grave yard aka. services since Rd is gridlocked with plague of dufes

If you have not been looking for a new job you can only blame yourself when the end comes and it is coming quickly..

Allscripts challenges Leidos? Ha! Doubtful. Leidos is getting out of the civil business and handing it off to Lockheed. Allscripts doesn’t have the capability to successfully deliver anything for the DoD.

Allscripts leadership continues to try to leach off other vendors success..

Allscripts challenged DoD’s sole-source selection of Leidos for the contract extension, but were rejected with the rationale that the government isn’t interested in bringing another EHR into the mix.

Great news Allscripts... The leadership just keeps on taking and gives nothing to the industry at all...

Another Allscripts RIP and Replace going on.

Hiawatha Hospital Association's switch from a Paragon EHR system to an athenahealth EHR platform is expected to be completed August 1, 2018.

The hospital association’s decision to replace its Paragon EHR followed the Allscripts-McKesson acquisition. The deal was valued at $185 million.

Ant wonder why Paul Black came in a too close to call dead last ranking of Healthcare software vendors CEOs …. HIS talk has results...

Well look again s---ers...looks like Allscripts is a major player in the NHS despite the previous post.

In England, the Royal College of Surgeons calls out the NHS after discovering the health service is still using 9,000 fax machines despite a nationwide push to convert to digital technologies. “NHS hospital trusts remain stubbornly attached to using archaic fax machines for a significant proportion of their communications,” says RCS chair Richard Kerr. “This is ludicrous. The NHS cannot continue to rely on a technology most other organisations scrapped in the early 2000s.”

Funny, before I was caught up in the reduction a few years back Allscripts cutting edge was a new fax solution...LOL

Another glamour headline for Allscripts..

A new KLAS report on non-US EHR activity finds that Epic gained 16,000 beds in signing six contracts in 2017, Cerner’s growth was moderate and lagged its primary competitors. The early days of the UK’s Global Digital Exemplar program has seen only four new contracts signed, of which Epic earned two, System C one, and Allscripts one. Way to go Allscripts...1 contract won...!!!!! how many beds? more then 20 I hope...
