So DP gets fired at Barnes & Noble and your sitting there at Staples owned by Sycamore and you ask why should I care? Well, because DP installed the same culture at B&N that he left behind at Staples. Most of the minions at higher levels are disciples of the "FIRE the BEST pay less to the rest" mentality. From the "Bidness" man to most of the VP's RVP's and DM's still live and breath this culture at Staples. HR is a bastion of this failed program and they ALL work for one purpose and one purpose only. One thing you must admire in a perverse way. It only took 12 months for DP to install his brand of diseased corporate management at B&G. However remember folks, his virus still infects all Staple's middle and upper management that have kept their heads down and avoided the axe.
