Has anyone laid off this past Monday received any notice on their severance package yet?

Well I got my check today. Was worried that wouldn’t even happen. Still no word of any severance. It’s just not fair!
If they pay severance, it will be after you have fully left the system. In the past you had to sign a non-disclosure to get it and not everybody got severance

Tomorrow is payday, let's see what they pay ai staff and faculty. If they decide to give severance to employees it might jst be added to this paycheck. Which will s--- because it will be highly taxed, but that will be the final FU to their dedicated employees. Maybe emails will be sent with "we wish you the best", BS or maybe there is still a very slight piece of humanity left in those corp pieces of human garbage and they will actually email you, outlining your severance plan. Good luck either way.
I personally would not hold my breath thinking they are even par human.
