Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Watson Oncology - gutting the development teams

Watson Oncology is DOA and IBM is gutting the development teams for the legacy products (Truven, Phycor, etc.) that they purchased over the last couple of years. Going forward, they will be "harvesting" these brands by investing nothing in new products, lowering prices to get renewals from lazy and\ or stupid customers and gutting sales and support teams to keep margins high until it all collapses under the weight of their greed and corruption.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

NO! No pats on the back. And no selfies, no bathroom run-ins, elevator pitches, or water fountain soirees.

Get rid of her already. What is it going to take for the board to wake up?

Feb 18. 2016, IBM acquires Truven for $2,600,000,000

Not a good ROI if they are letting people go already. Can you say epic fail.

Seems like every IBM acquisition has this same story.

But they will just continue to sweep these disasters under the rug.

Let's hold some town halls instead and give ourselves a pat on the back.

We can shift the subject to blockchain in an attempt to brainwash the sheep.

Google "blockchain" & IBM did not even show up on the first page.

Yet this is our bread and butter? More like IBM missed the boat again.

Keep drinking it up
